My boards that are labeled 11 amd 15 that support the mattress are too short and dont reach all the way so dont support the bed which lead to me falling through the bed anz the long middle support broke. Messaged the bed company for new ones and never sent them so had to buy my own wood, makes me want a partial refund but the bed is otherwise good with my added supports, holds me and another which is around 400lbs. Used plywood and my two broken halves from the long support as extra legs to support the plywood after I also replaced it with new long center board.
I hardly write reviews but I have to say how easy it was to set it up and the instructions were straight forward!
It took me atleast an hr and a half to build it by myself but I do recommend this bunk bed!!
The bed itself was sturdy. The issue was the horrible odor and off gassing. I had a headache the entire week we managed to keep it in the house. I used 2 fans, wiped it with enzymatic cleaner, and it made no difference. We had to seal the room off entirely. Why would anyone used such dangerous chemicals on a childs bed

So I was putting it together and this happened. I called and am getting a replacement. So Im hoping this next one is good. I will update when I get the new one and show how it turned out. I am upset because we did a lot of searching for a bed for my kids.
So nice looking. Assembly took a long time because of all the small details and many screws. Definitely use a small electric drill and follow the directions to a T. Its sturdy and fits our small room perfect. Makes the room look more open and larger. Its fun for my kid and got her to stop jumping on the bed. Stores a lot including a 3 draw dresser and kid couch. Its a fun place for our bunny to hop under and take a nap. The paint was really fresh on ours so it took a couple weeks for it to cure and the smell the subside. Open windows, a fan , and dry heat helped get rid of the strong chemical smell. Not great for anyone to breath but it did go away after a while. Luckily it was warm enough to keep windows wide open day and night to get rid of the smell.
Update: I hate this more than I did when I first got it. The rungs on the ladder spin because they arent the square pegged ones. I have bashed myself because I didnt notice the screw loosens over time. If there were square peg rungs like the PICTURE SHOWED this would never have happened. Seriously screw whomever was able to swap the ladder parts out without updating their sale picture.
I have arthritis in my feet so I ordered this one and paid extra for this specific bed because it has square peg ladders in the picture. I barely can use this ladder as the rungs are round. I liked the square aesthetic too in the pictures on the listing, not sure why they wouldnt update their pictures as this product is over $400.
This bed was easy to assemble and is very sturdy. The height is perfect for my 3 1/2 year old. I would of given this product 5 stars if not for the smell.
Con: the bed had a very strong smell when first assembled that was nearly overwhelming for the first 2 days however the smell did dissipate after 4 days of airing the room daily with windows open and a fan on.

Terrible noxious odor

The ladder is not as pictured and Ive injured myself cause of it
