Assembly was relatively simple. We purchased it for our guest room. It is heavy so assemble it in the room you plan to have it in. It is a sturdy bed so we hope that it will last for years to come. It works.
I felt like I was intimidated by other reviews, but it was much easier to put together than I thought it would be. The only annoying piece I thought was the wheels to the trundle. Seems sturdy the feedback about the pillow falling of is 100 true. Still working on a work around for that. Good Product.
Very sturdy and comfortable. Standard twin mattresses fit both frames. Trundle fits easily with sheets and comforter. Instructions are a bit confusing at first glance. Just match the numbers on the pieces and use the correct fasteners. Comes with tools which is nice. I did not use them. I used my own ratchet screwdriver with the appropriate heads. Perfect.
Bought this bed for my daughters 4th! And she loves it! I was able to assemble it myself. I only gave it a four because it is bigger than expected for such a small room. But she will be able to grow into it. I would recommend it to anyone. Easy set up.

The man who assembled the bed was great. He was done in 30 minutes and left no mess. Worth every penny. Works well.
