We needed a day bed for when our daughter and son/in/law stay with us. Both are (for lack of a better wording) on the heavy side. We had looked at day beds locally at mattress stores, and Walmart(none looked adequate). I ordered this based on ratings(was a little worried about some reviews about missing parts). Parts were all packed well and numbered. The instructions were well illustrated and straight forward, came with a small ratcheting allen wrench that made it quick to assemble. All parts were there, even had spare bolts. I think it took about 20 minutes to assemble. The slats are rectangular bars that are spaced closely and appear to be VERY strong. I Bought a LUCID 8 medium firm memory foam/gel mattress on and it fits with more than an inch of clearance for the bottom roll out unit. The top of the daybed we are using an medium firm individually wrapped springs twin mattress that we bought locally and really like. I am impressed, this day bed reminds me of the good old made in USA products we had 40 years ago. Hard to believe it is made in China. Very compact.
Love this day/trundle bed combo! Using as couch in the loft but as bed when guests visit. It is very comfortable. I will buy for basement next. Very nice product!
We bought this to set up in the den of our lake house for our grandchildrens visits. While it looks rather complicated to set up, the details are clear and the parts well marked. It require a helper. Were happy with how it went together, how it looks, and how it slides in and out for flexible sleeping arrangements. Well made. It was just what I wanted.
Hmmm just unpacked the pieces and directions. The directions are not the best claims as easy as 1/2/3 NOT! I will follow up after we figure everything out .ok at 1st it was a 1 star just because of directions but now after much frustration and my husband stepping in (he got it lol) I am changing to a 4would be a 5 if it was clearer to me and my husband. Very happy.
Bought this for my daughters small bedroom and she loves it! A much prettier way for a girl to have a spare bed for a friend in my opinio.n Well built!!
Might scream while assembling.It was missing parts 10 support beams to hold the mattress up. It wasnt worth waiting for the parts to come. Just bought a frame at a local furniture store.
