We decided to try the two twin XLs together to make a split King bed, but we just detested the feel of two twin beds trying to pass off as one bed--the gap in between the mattresses just defeated any semblance of sleeping in the same bed together.
However, instead of returning the twin XL bases we kept them, used the sync cable to make them act as one bed frame, and replaced our twin XL mattresses with one king. We are loving the bed now, and these bases acting in unison remove any hint of the bed frame being two separate frames.
Additionally whenever well need to move in the future, the two twin XL frames will be much easier to move than one single massive king-sized frame.
Love the massage feature and the Under Bed Light, but the adjustable head and foot are the real winners--the rest is just icing on the cake.
Yes, my wife and I can not adjust the bed any longer without it affecting the whole bed, but wed much rather have this compromise than feel like were in two separate beds, like some 1950s TV couple!
So I have a more expensive version of the frame...its significantly heavier, and not nearly as easy to store. If you are over 250, you may want something a bit heafty. If you want this for a kids room, or in our case a guest bed...click the buy button. It took longer to get out of the box than it took to assemble it.
Weve had this adjustable bed for over a year now and its still working great! Its great for those with back issues and has helped with ours a great deal.
Bed took a long time to arrive, and had been out on the delivery truck 3 days in a row before they finally delivered it (FedExs fault, of course). The listing claims its 80lbs... its closer to 200lbs. Do not think you can move this alone. Took two super strong guys to help.
Easy to assemble. Mine did not come with the legs as shown, but instead a three part system that goes from 5, 8 or 12. The legs arent very sturdy, and flipping it over is very hard while avoiding putting any weight on the legs while turning it over. They bend easily, but hold well with all the weight distributed properly.
Also did not receive the correct remote. It was for a completely different brand, which had me worried at first. I couldnt pair it to the bed, and it didnt have the massage function on the remote. After reaching out to customer service, they asked me to provide information that should have been attached to a legal tag on the bed, but the tag wasnt there. So they asked for information from the user manual... but no user manual had been provided. Then they asked for info from a specific sticker on the shipping box... not even that was there. They still took care of me and sent the correct remote.
Unfortunately, I still didnt have the user manual to figure out how to pair it, and the customer service representative never emailed it to me like he said he would.
I tried the obvious, press the pair button under the bed, and press the pair button on the remote. Fail. Tried holding them for different times, 3 sec- 8 sec... nothing. Finally I got frustrated and just started clicking the pair button over and over on the bed. The underside lighting (which keeps falling off) randomly lit up. So I figured I was on to something.
How to pair your remote: Double click the pair button on the base of the bed until the underside lighting strip starts flashing. Hold the pair button down on the remote until the remote starts flashing. You should be paired.
The bed itself is great, and they did send the correct remote eventually. The bed is also not exactly as pictured, but it still functions the same way; the USB ports are not on the side, but underneath. And the legs are wrong.
I do love the rubbery top. It keeps the mattress from sliding side to side. It fits inside the bed frame I bought, and its attractive.
With all the issues, I cant give this 5 stars. But in the end it does still do what its meant to do.
Paid delivery guy to assemble… he had it assembled in like 7 minutes! Could have done myself… oh well!! Have had for about a week and all seems good! Massage is really a vibration! Good for the price!
My mom had a sealed bed and she broke the remote It was a big hassle to try and get a replacement so I went ahead and got this . The assembly was less then 10 minutes. It lightweight. I would recommend this I am feeling rested when I wake up . Dont think twice. Buy one

Ordered two twin XLs--but better with one king mattress!

Very nice item
Great item except that the legs are no adjustable, the frame is too high. We had to order adjustable legs so we can lower it.
