Helps if you have two people to assemble as it is big, bulky and heavy. Instructions are well written and all of the parts are clearly labeled, including screws and other hardware. We installed the towel bar and after assembly was completed we decided to delete it. Taking it out was just as easy as installing. The completed unit is very sturdy and the locking casters are a big help. Well use this for some cooking projects and the mobility of the unit will be very helpful.
This fills our need for extra storage and more counter space. Assembly was easy but then again I am very handy and follow directions very well. Even with my skill at assembling the left drawer does not close on the right side all the way. The Rate features leaves out Material Quality. If they included Material Quality I would give that feature 2 stars. Overall thought only 3 stars.
The engineering of this Cart in its design, construction, assembly and even packaging is outstanding. Ingeniously shipped with a combination of foam and heavy cardboard the product arrived, all 126 lbs, on my porch without a scratch. Assembly instructions are well described in proper English with accompanying diagrams. I recommend an extra pair of hands as the components are all solid oak and of heavy construction. You wont find any stables or fiberboard here. Some components were pre/assembled. The fit of parts was precise so if you find anything that doesnt line up correctly you are doing something wrong! You can find cheaper carts but you will not find a more sturdy cart. The oak construction matches our oak kitchen cabinets so it looks like it belongs. This kitchen cart greatly exceeded my expectations and I am sure it will last for years to come. Nice going !
I was overly impressed with the precision of all the bolt/screw holes and the fit of the wood. I never had to make alterations to accommodate the bolts or screws, as I have in other k/d projects Ive done. From start to finish, it took me less than two hours, and that includes time out to rest my back. I was also impressed that the cabinet was made of REAL wood, rather than MDF. Im very, very satisfied with the finished product, and it suits my needs perfectly! Do you have SIX stars?
I have a small kitchen and bought this for both storage and work area. I do not have a lot of counter space, and this provides an excellent amount. I ended up taking the paper towel holder and knife block back off, though , in order to fit a small cabinet next to it for additional storage.
Assembly is what caused me to write this. IT WAS SO EASY!!!! each screw and small part came in its own Labeled bag, instructions were easy to follow and all parts were easily identifiable, unlike some items I have ordered and struggled with because nothing is identified.
