The vendor description of this island indicates a length of 54. The actual assembled length is only 43 (length of table top). Appears to be a nice piece, comprised of solid wood components. The finish is very well done, particularly if you like light colored woods. Assembly was easily accomplished in one afternoon, and the enclosed instructions are very well done, concise, and accurate. Assembly time was about two hours. The only tool one really needs is a Phillips screwdriver. Once assembled, it is quite sturdy. I left the casters off mine and added a 6 elevated base to bring total height to 40 / the same height of my stove. I secured the base to the floor 4ft in front of my stove. Looks nice.
I bought this for up at my solar cabin. It was easy to assemble following the directions. It serves my purposes perfectly. Has plenty of storage. Highly recommend!
I put the drawers together first. then the cabinet but back did not fit well. probably should have taken apart and sent back but I did not. it is functional but left drawer is lower than right drawer so not perfect looking. SO I suggest put cabinet together first (just in case they are off and need to be sent back). If cabinet is ok then work on the drawers
This was easy to put together and is a functional piece. Im 56 and is pretty low to work on. I raised it with risers and its much better. Im happy with it.
Whoever designed this for assembly/dumb or assembly/smart humans did a good job. All of the parts were complete, very good step/by/step instructions. Solid wood construction/heavy so ensure you have 2 people to bring it inside or use a hand cartIt took me 3 hours to assemble.
