    2 person job recommended

For the most part, the Allen wrench was just fine. But youll want a drill to screw the panels onto the border of the bed frame. Instructions are very easy to follow. Youll definitely need a second person to align the side panel to the top panel. But other than that you can do this by yourself. Pro tip: when you are finished sliding all of the slats into the black sleeve, and the next step is to screw three metal support beams in the center DO NOT. I repeat DO NOT screw them in tightly. Why? Welp, you have to slide in two other long supporting beams and if that is too tight youll have to go back and loosen them (pain in the $ !). You can go back after its put in its place and tighten without a problem. Other than that easy peasey.

    Assembled by 1 1/4

It took me a bit to put this together mostly because by myself balancing piece to get it lined up and then getting screws lined up was hard. I ended up recrewing my 6 year old to find me things to put under pieces to help me out. It did say 2 was needed but widow life here say that isnt an option so I did it alone and I got it done. It took about the ETA the book said not much longer. I would say the longest part was the slats and if you really wanted something more durable then the thin metal a metal Bunkie board bed could also be used as a bottom platform for even more stability. I did end up getting 4 risers though as t was a bit to low for me to be able to fit my storage bins under the bed as is.

Low scores based on initial frustration

First — not a 30 minute build. Not difficult but not 30 minutes. My frustration came at the final step when I needed to screw in the underside support for the mattress. There were no holes or even marks for direction. I did not have a drill as it was not an item ever mentioned as even being helpful. So I did the screws by hand and they split the metal and didnt lay flat. Im not a carpenter but have done my share of furniture and metal work. This was a flaw in the manufacture. Unfortunate because up to that point I was happy with the purchase. 30 minutes was over 2 hours using tools provided and a screwdriver. Bed is cute. I hope it is sturdy.

    Great purchase!

Easy to put together, really love the base that holds the mattress, just not metalen slats!

    Stylish Easy Peasy

Got the white wash look it looks great in the guest room! Easy to assemble with the help of another. Took us less than an hour. Comparable to the PB platform bed my daughter has, but a way better price.

It was easy until it wasnt (updating stars after all)

Well, like most reviews on here my box arrived damaged open on the end. There wasnt much to any damage inside so I wasnt concerned. The first part of the assembly was going great, everything was fitting perfectly, it was such a breeze. Then it came down to the last 2 screws on the long side of the frame and it almost seemed that the holes were off my maybe a centimeter. But I was able to add in some different screws and make it work. NOW where it all went down hill the metal slats after a little maneuvering I was able to get them all down inside the frame except for both ends! I had to really force them in there resorted to using the hammer to make it fit ! (Hints the picture with it all torn up inside).. Lets just say that isnt going anywhere now! Once you put it together dont plan on taking it apart! So far it seems sturdy, I will update review once I get the mattress on The mattress I got fits the bed perfectly. My son,2.5y sleeps on the bed. Its low enough to the ground even with the mattress that he is able to climb on and off with no problems. The frame is very sturdy, holds my family of 3. Although it was a pain to put together its been a really good bed frame. For those reasons Im adding stars.

    Beautiful and Easy to Assemble

My 15 year old son and I put this together. Its made of some good heavy metal. Instructions were easy to follow. We have had it up a little over two months or so. No issues. Very sturdy. The white is modern and matched his room decor.

    Is what it is.

Bed is sturdy, its cheap, and its loud. We bought this for my 2 year olds first bed. Looks nice, while putting it together some of the fake metal its plastered with chipped or scratched off. Real thing that annoys me about it is when anyone is on the bed, its just loud. When he hoists his little ham hocks up there, it creeks as he moves across the bed. So if he falls asleep while Im reading bedtime stories, will most definitely wake him up when I leave. Not sure if its because of the black protector thats over the bars or what. Would I buy again? Maybe for a guest bedroom that no one sleeps in. Too much effort to take apart and send back, so Ill just buy a different one at some point.

3 stars because the order was wrong. But the metal really is great quality for the money we paid!

We ordered 2. A light brown and a rustic brown. The light brown I bought for myself because it was almost an exact match! I ordered my mother the rustic brown and she didnt get the rustic brown. They sent the wrong color and she was pretty upset that it didnt match the rest of her new furniture that was just purchased but she needed a frame for her mattress and had no choice but to put it together.

    Does the job

Came undamaged. The directions could be written better. Hardware for the backboard was included in the package. The product is engineered ok, cheaper materials. Pressboard not metal. Laminated exterior. Took about an hour to assemble, went together easily and all needed Hardware was included. Decent overall product and value. Cant say how long it will last but probably a long time if treated kindly. Might not survive a move however.
