This is a great little house for the price! My kitty is kind of large so I left the door off added a couple boards to make it cozier. The top will be her lounging area. She took to it right away. Sure looks nicer than when her bed was just on the floor!
My 10 year old Himalayan loves it! The assembly was easy, box is sturdy! I showed her how to get in, rubbed her paws in the litter, never had an issue. I did put her old litter box inside so she was familiar with it, fits perfectly! I also clean her waste out every night so that helps, cats love clean litter! I use Scoop Away clumping formula, I find that is the best and with no smell. My cat is on the larger size, a lot of fur, she has no issues going in and out of the door, stays shut. There is some litter that comes out of the box from her paws but its not everywhere. As long as shes happy so am I!
Love it !!! A regular small liter box will fit perfectly ! Helps keep liter smell and liter inside the box ! Its very cute ...the only negative thing I will say is that it was a little bit difficult setting it up ! The instructions were a little hard to follow .
It was a pain to assemble this thing. Took hours! Was worried after reading the comments our fat cat wouldnt fit, but decided to chance it because I wanted something more attractive to hide her litter box in. There arent many alternatives. After having it a few months now it has definitely worked out over all, but its not the best quality the reviews are right!! IT IS SUPER TINY. A small litter box barely fits. Im surprised my 16 lb cat climbs in there, but she likes tight spaces. You also have to be aware if the house gets wet inside (AKA the cat misses) because the material used is pretty thin. I could see that going bad quickly. If you have the space and money for a bigger one, go with that.
You literally need this for your cat. I bought this because it has a very mid century modern vibe to it. And I have an insanely messy cat who likes to get litter everywhere. She LOVES this thing. Its super easy to assemble, its sooo sturdy and beautiful. Very easy to clean, she still gets litter everywhere but it stays mostly in the box. Easy to vacuum out and wipe out any gross. Worth the money! I would totally buy another one!
