It was easy to assemble - though there were only pictures for instructions, and not all parts were identified with a sticker. You have to make sure the litter box youre using is no longer than 18, or the door wont close. I left the door open for a day so the cat would know the box was there. The cat doesnt seem to know the limits, however, and she misses the side of the box sometimes when she pees. Thats annoying. She also gets a bit rambunctious with her digging and covering, but at least its contained. Ive put a towel under the box to assist with cleaning - and to make sure nothing seeps through to enclosure. It looks nice.
I wanted this to put the litter box in our carpeted spare bedroom, as there is no room for the litter box in either bathroom. Took me about 45 minutes to put together, but I was doing it very casually. LOVE how this looks and the sturdiness of it! Very easy to clean it as well. I have a mat inside and outside in case she knocks any litter out. Make sure you look at measurements for the litter box you put in as it is a little smaller. Wouldnt be good for chonky cats as they couldnt fit through the door probably!
