I love the look and feel of this chair. I need a small pillow when lounged back to comfortably hold my head and I’m 5’3. My husband is 6’ so this chair is NOT good for him but it’s in my office so it wasn’t intended for him. The chair didn’t come with a lever so you lean back to bring out the recliner. I didn’t realize that when I bought it but not a big deal. I love the burnt orange color and texture of the chair for my mid-century mod Office and it was reasonably priced.
Definitely not for tall people, but it looks nice, very modern, and quite comfortable even when reclined. However, like I said, don't buy this if you're any taller than like 5'5.
Heck of a chair! I love it. Comfortable, sturdy, the most compact recliner anywhere. It shipped immediately and was delivered in 3 days. Assembled in just 2 pieces. I’m going to get another one. Oh, and the price. Unbeatable.
Although NOT a wall-hugger, this recliner fits the space perfectly. I wish I would have purchased two! It is slim (seating wise), but I find it very comfortable. The cushion is firm, so if you’re wanting something soft and fluffy, this is not it. Also, the back is somewhat slanted as the picture shows. It’s not a tremendously high back, so there’s minimal to no neck support. Keep that in mind if you’re planning to use this for watching tv.
The installation/putting it together was simple. Just screw on the legs, insert the back piece and push down. Done. They included rings for the legs in case it was wobbly. I used one on each leg and it was fine. I probably didn’t need any. Very well-built and sturdy. It reclines easy.
The only slight con: the legs weren’t as dark as I thought. They are more of a cherry brown than a dark espresso. Not a huge deal for me, but some might be opposed.
