I was a little worried when I first got the bed cause its that fake kinda cheap Wooden frame ?didnt look strong enough to hold up. I gave it a shot and I got this bed for my grandma, she loves it. It fits perfectly in a small size room and is high enough to store stuff under it and so shes not bending down so far to get in out of bed. Its easy to put together and only took me about 2hrs to complete. Its sturdy and Im not worried about it braking, it doesnt move or wiggle when she tries to get up either. Overall this is a great bed for the price of it
I actually purchased 3, but I have put together 2 by myself. A queen size and a twin size! It does come with instructions and tools. Very easy to put together. The bars of the bottom of frame come in and out, they arent secured. Im not sure if I like that but itll be fine! And the nut bolts dont screw all the way on so youll probably need to use your own tool for that part. But even thats not a huge deal, I love it and my kids love it as well!
Overall, easy enough to assemble, even by yourself. There is one portion in the middle where it was easier to put stuff together but not yet tighten bolts, as you need to handle two tools at once. After assembling everything else, its then easier to tighten that middle section, by using the rims to prevent the wrench tool from moving further, while turning the allen wrench with your good hand. I took a pic, to show what Im trying to explain. If you have two people working together, this may not be needed.
The frame itself is basic, but not high on the sides to contain the mattress. The mattress slips on the Wooden, so the bed is against the wall for now. I am going to try some rubber non/slip that I use for my dish cabinets.
