Its a very nice nightstand! I love the pretty gray finish!! It looks exactly like the picture. The drawer is deep for added room. Its really very nice!! If I needed another one, I would buy another one. The company did a fabulous job packing it for a good safe delivery to my house!! 10 thumbs up!! Thanks!!
This is a really nice nightstand for the price. Solid pine save for the drawer bottoms and backing which are hardboard. I liked it so much I ended up buying the matching dresser and really like it too!
Tips: The instructions warn to not use power tools for assembly. I took the risk with my light duty power drill by setting torque adjuster way down so it cammed out at the correct screw depth. Definitely worth it for the large leg screws.
The good: Assembly is fairly easy. All parts are clearly numbered, the instructions are clear and tools required are simple (hammer and screwdriver) The stain is well done and even. The quality of the pine is very nice and mostly clear of knots. Some reviewers complained the panels are not full solid pices but rather laminated pine boards. Most wood furniture is laminated boards glued together as that adds strength to the materials.
The bad: Slightly smaller than anticipated. The finish is very thin an likely just one coat. I purchased as separate protector for the top. Definitely use a coaster on this furniture.
Assembly was on the more complex side, but not all that scary. Make sure you look closely at each step of the guide. I absolutely recommend using power tools for all the screws (I used an impact driver with Phillips head and hex key bits). Everything is labeled well. I will say that part of the reason assembly isnt the easiest build is because most pieces are joined with pegs AND glue AND screws—which is why the finished product is so sturdy!

These work great for our bedside tables. We did spray paint them a brighter white to match our other furniture. They were more of an antique white.
