I got this for my son. Looks great and seems sturdy. Easy instructions and to assemble. The drawers took the longest to assemble. Great price. Thank God for free shipping. The shipping cost was going to be $10 less than the cost of the bed. I would order this again if I needed another bed.
Love this bed ! Looks great sturdy my 2,3 years olds and my self can be one it with no issues(Im not a size 5 more like an 18) however I do not jump on it as my 3 yr old would like lol . The finish is nice my guy put it together in probably 2 hrs then like an additional 15 minutes to put the drawers together a few days down the road . My kids love it and it far exceeded my expectations I think he will have this for a long time and I love the space it saves with the drawers an amazing!!! I will say the other reviews that said it comes in one package and is unnaturally heavy are absolutely 100% true! The box was so heavy my guy couldnt get it up on his shoulder which Ive never seen happen for him it took everything in me to move it from the front porch to just enough inside my house to shut the door ! It was just crazy heavy! The reason I have it 4 not 5 stars is because there are some sharp edges on this bed and if you happen to scrape you shin or say the back of your heal ( no idea how I did this ) I promise you will be in agonizing pain like throw stuff scream obscenities ( which I did not thank you but soo wanted to ) then it was sore for a week and then became a scab ! Crazy painful ! That being said still a 4 cause its sturdy, nice looking, my kids have not hurt themselves, and I fricken know better now and am super careful of the edges of death ! Buy this bed it rocks !
I read the reviews before my purchase and was afraid it would take all weekend to put together. I was surprised when it only took 30 minutes. The bed is sturdy enough as the reviews also scared me. The drawers hold all of my husbands clothing items. They are roomy. The finish on the bed looks great. For the money, this is an awesome buy. I recommend it with the best price memory foam mattress, 10 in.... We fight over who gets to chill on this bed.
I ordered 3 of these Twin Mates box-style beds for our 3 young boys who share a room together. I wanted the look of Pottery Barns 3-boy-room without the high price. These are the next best look to Pottery Barn, and no one peeking in the room would know the difference. The color is just as pictured on website, and just as expected: a nice medium shade of blue. The quality of the beds are less than ideal for any rough-housing or play-bouncing on, but made of particle board you get what you pay for. Only one of the beds came with a single broken piece to the drawer, but the company cheerfully and immediately sent the replacement part, so no harm done. Even though not real wood, they should last our boys a good 6-9 years until they leave home, trusting the quality good enough to hold up to nightly sleep and light use throughout the day. I would give a 3-Star rating for the slightly fragile quality of the bed itself (plastic connectors, thin frame). But a 4-star for the overall look of the bed being very nice, all three beds are identical in color shade, drawers fit evenly across the front, and are easy to open while lying on the bed. They arrived in good timing to our need, and were packed well. I got the Pottery Barn look I was after, the little boys (being the bottom of 9 kids) are thrilled to each have their very own new beds, and Daddy is pleased with the price.
got it put together took a few hours but hey whos in a hurry hahaa very well built only problem is the handles come off but I think its due to the fact that she may twist her hands a little when she pulls the drawers out. thinking about using some glue to keep them in place but it has not been a big deal.
Not real wood but very sturdy (laminated mdf). Comes with blue pen to cover knicks and dings. Have had ours for about a year and so far have not even needed to use the marker. Being used by rowdy 3 year old boy so its holding up well. Drawers do not line up perfectly.
This was a nightmare to put together, with instructions that were worse than s illustrations.
Pros:
- Sturdy once put together
- Blueberry finish is a nice touch, and they provide a touch up marker which works perfectly
- Three drawers for storage, which is very helpful
Cons
- Is a bit longer than the twin mattress we have, which I think is actually shorter than normal. The extra room at ends is awkward and creates a sharp edge when trying to get off. Highly recommend measuring twice so you only have to order once.
- Drawers system uses plastic rails, rather than metal. I see them getting stuck or hard to open in the future
- Some items werent pre-drilled and you cant use an electric screwdriver, meaning its hard to put together.

Good quality bed
Smart-Looking and Comfortable Just what was needed to make my grandsons room complete. He now has the dresser, end table and bed. Nice!
