I was worried about ordering this based on reviews but it was on sale and the only kids size desk in our budget right now. I think it was a good deal for all you get. Yes some of it isnt the sturdiest material but we are used to buying that type of furniture for our kids because they will probably ruin it anyway. My 7 year old first grader likes it and it will work for my soon to be kindergartener as well so I think we will get lots of use out of it. I like that its small because we dont have much room for a desk. Only a couple of stress cracks from tightening ss too hard on the dividers but like I said it was a good deal for the price we got. I think it will last my son and daughter through elementary school.

Assembly:
I was very impressed with the ease of assembly of this product. The pieces were very organized right out of the box. Assembly included building the chair and attaching the legs to the desk top. Pieces attach with wooden dowels and ss. You need to have a philips head sdriver to assemble. The hardware is vacuum sealed in a smaller package and clearly numbered so you can easily find each small piece, while following the directions. Directions were about 6 steps long and extremely easy to read and follow. Everything was labeled with letters and numbers and pictures, which were very clear as to what you were supposed to be doing. I was able to build the desk in about 20 minutes with a 2 year old trying to help me. Everything lined up and worked out very nicely.
Assembled Product:
The final product is great. The wood looks nice and polished. Its a light wood grain with a clear finish and looks very high quality. The pieces are real wood and study. The desk top easily opens and closes quietly without slamming shut. Desk has a small ledge on the top to hold markers, pens, pencils while the top is opened. The inside desk itself can hold a variety of items. My grandchildren do a lot of the file folder activities at home, i.e. color matching, letter recognition, etc. and they fit in the desk perfectly. Inside the desk is a small wood divider piece so you can store workbooks, activities on one side and writing/drawing tools on the other. The height it perfect for the younger children (age 2 and age 4). The chair is study but light enough that my toddler can push it in and out by himself. Very nice overall!
I was a little skeptical of the product when I first saw it but the end results has me very happy! It looks nice and is a perfect addition to our afternoon learning activities. My granddaughter has been asking to go to school ever since her two brothers started, so she was beyond thrilled to have this added to our house and to go to schoolat home. This is our first large furniture item and after this experience I would not hesititate to purchase another larger childs furniture item from them in the future; they build quality items.

This was a terrible purchase. The table itself was damaged, missing ss and instruction was incorrect. My husbands finger was cut through the edges of the chipped wood of the table while taking it out of the box. You would think the supplier would have inspected this product as CHILDREN will be the ones using this table!

I was expecting a childs desk, but this is more of a toddlersized desk. Weve opted to keep it, but I should have read the measurements!
