    The Right Fit

This storage bench is very nice. Just the right size for the small entrance. Took a little time to assemble but it was worth it.

    Good product

So far loving it. Quality is good for the price!! Super easy to assemble. Instructions are simple (to me) Color is beautiful! With all the negative comments wich are not true, i felt i needed to say it is a good product! Obviously its not high quality products but for the price and all i got to say i love it!!!!

Cant believe it is not natural wood.

Good quality and looks like real solid wood pieces.

    Nice...BUT!

I would like this item if the package included instructions! I cannot truly determine if the product is good quality or not considering my husband and I have had to put it together with absolutely NO instructions or guidance. The seller needs to do better with this considering several people have already complained about this very thing - when you know better, you should do better and I made the assumption that they had improved this before I made my purchase, but I was terribly wrong.

    Have to return

It’s too small for our entry way. Husband said it was hard to assemble. It just doesn’t work for us. Have to return

    Smaller than expected

Given that the item is described as a storage bench I expected something a little taller by at least a couple of inches. The posted dimensions dont offer the cube size, though it would need to be less than a foot wide given the overall width. The materials are what you would expect from low cost self assembly furniture items (press board, with a plastic outer layer). Assembly was as expected (as others have noted, a third hand is often useful if not required). Assembly time for me was about 1 hour, including unpacking the parts. Overall, this is what I expect of low cost self assembly furniture. I dont see it as durable (it might survive one move if done carefully). Id relegate this item to a closet or childs room for compartmented storage (I had thought to use it for game storage, but the cubes are just a little too small for many of the boxes. P-)

Works for cloth bins, but not strong enough to sit on.

I use these for preschool cubbies. I bought two, one of which was great, and the other keeps losing screws and is very unsteady. Not even young children could sit on it.

    Look and functionality great.

Love the look and functionality. Ive had easier assemblies but overall, assembly wasnt too bad. My two issues: Cant find an indoor cushion that fits it (seems to be an odd size); wood is easy to scratch/gouge.

Absolutely horrible assembly and not worth the struggle.

I bought a house 2 years ago and since then I have purchased and assembled plenty of furniture. Had I known how difficult this bench was going to be to put together, theres absolutely no way I would have purchased it. Its beautiful, solid wood, but what a nightmare! Six hours I spent on this thing! Pre-drilled holes that are clearly in the wrong place. Tiny marks in the stain where there are supposed to be pre-drilled holes, but arent. Instructions that are so unclear at times (the very first page is wrong. Youre not attaching anything through guide holes on Back F). At the end of the instructions they tell you to screw on the magnets that keep the doors closed AFTER the doors are on the bench. So youre screwing tiny, sharp screws into pieces of wood (again where there are no pre-drilled holes) that are suspended in the air with nothing to lean against for support. If you are up for the challenge, I suggest looking through the instructions before you start and consider finding a more practical order to do things. Following this mess step by step meant turning it on its side and climbing in the cubby to see what had to be done. For over $200, this should have either been preassembled or much better written instructions.
