The product is having sharp edges on the side where the ladder starts and my 8 year old got bruised so badly in 2 places that I had to rush her to urgent care.
We have had this bunk bed for almost 5 years. Sturdier than you would think for the price. Kind of a cheap finish (we have the white bed), but you get what you pay for. Kids love them and theyve been well worth the price. We will be separating them soon to use as 2 twin beds and Im sure they will continue to work for us for a while. Well made and packaged.
I do not like the big forever warning sticker on the end. I do like that there is a lot of storage space under each. One is a little different on the corners than the other where it sticks up, no biggie. I wanted to use one for my toddler with the railings but it is designed to just have them with the latter. I just kind switched a couple boards to give it side rails while in two separate twins. When she gets older we will brave bunks and throw big sister on the top. Value for money.
The product was shipped to me pretty quick. It was pretty heavy as a package but once removed from the box the individual pieces were very easy to handle and assemble. I did have a few shipping and packaging problems though. The shipper only gave me an 8 hour window for the bed to be delivered and I wasnt able to remain at the house all day to receive it. They left it on my porch steps instead on my porch where it would have been out of the weather. We get afternoon thunderstorms regularly in the summer. Luckily we were able to get it inside before a storm came. The package had a gouge and hole in the box which translated into a couple of gouges on the wood. luckily I was able to make those pieces be on the backside and not easily seen.
Quality wise there are 2 holes at the top of the ladder that wasnt drilled at the factory. There were several 10mm dowel holes that were drilled to large for the dowels and I had one wood screw hole that was also drilled too large allowing it to strip out.
Overall the bed is very sturdy and feels pretty well made and I would likely buy it again if one was needed since it was reasonably priced and the quality overall pretty good for its weight class. Good quality.
We received a bad piece with this order. The bad piece was missing holes for putting one of the bunk beds together and it had a number written in manually.
Ignore reviews that say this bed is not solid or safe. This bed is very solid and I dont have any worries about the safety of my grandkids sleeping in it. I would highly recommend using an electric drill with allen and phillips head bits to speed up the installation. I would have given it 5 stars but one of the barrel nuts was missing and I had to run out to a hardware store to get another one. Luckily the hardware store had one that worked. Total time to construct it was 3 hours with the trip to the hardware store. Without the missing part it would have only taken 2 hours. works great.

Great sturdy bunk bed. Nice soft mattress maybe too soft that goes with it separately. Fits in small bedroom. Good quality.
