This bed surprised me on the quality as I was putting it together. Its solid wood, and the dowels, and other hardware are very nice. Nice and thick dowels, and long screws. It should last us a while. You do need to air out the bed after setting it up for a while. It does have a paint/chemical smell for a few hours, but it was gone quickly. My wife and I love the fact that this bed can be two separate beds, or work as a bunk bed. Thats one of the main reasons we got it. The twin bed alone does stand higher up than a typical twin mattress frame, but its not anything we cant work around. Easy and strong.
Love this bed! It did come in a lot of pieces but the instructions were easy to read and it went together pretty quick. So happy with how it turned out! My daughter loves it! Just the right height.
Good size and perfect for what I was looking for. Assembly can be challenging. My concern after owning for a few months is that the wood in some areas is cracking and sleeping on the bottom bed can seem a bit scary because with any movement from the above, the bed shakes as if its going to crack and collapse on top of you. Overpriced.
