I love assembling things, so I didnt mind taking 30 minutes to do it. I only purchased the headboard and it looks great. It feels durable enough for press board, but the center piece is only cardboard. If someone bangs their head hard enough it might damage the center piece only. The main parts that are visible is covered in a laminate coating. For the price I would definitely buy again. Functional.
I found this easy to assemble. Its not a premium quality piece of furniture, but works well I our guest bedroom. Hardware to mount to a bedframe is not included. Does its job!.
Honestly, I was a little weary, considering the priceBUT It turned out great!!! It took 3 hours to assemble, but we only had one screw driver, so it could have taken less time, but, with one person itll take about 3 hours.
We did end up drilling in the planks to the frame, so they wouldnt shift around.
I got to ditch my box spring, which is nice. Also, Im actually sleeping better. This frame is awesome, and nice to look at. And, the drawers are HUGE, which is a bonus, and it was way better than taking up more space with an extra dresser in the room.
Oh, and it arrived weeks before the date they gave me, and that was even with the free shipping!!! It is alright.
It takes more than 5 hours to put together. Missing 4 wooden sticks and 7 metal and blue plastic screws for two drawers,called customer service and they transfered me to a voice mail. Easy and strong.
Heads up: the bed comes in four separate packages. I received the drawers first which was infuriating considering they arent the necessary pieces. I received the next boxes one week later which was still frustrating.
Overall, it took about 8 hours to assemble the whole thing, and there were some pretty heavy boxes (I believe one of them said it was over 100lbs).
The most frustrating part (even after receiving the packages days apart) was that the slats were supposed to be the easiest part. Well, neither slat actually fits properly. Its supposed to stretch all the way behind this wooden dowel but both slats are about an inch too short. This was the icing on top of the cake since putting on the slats should have been the easiest part!!!

It looks like it cost more than it did. Did not need to adhere it to the wall or bed frame. Worth the price !!!
