This playpen is perfect for a bunny. We use twist ties to connect it to the bunnies cage and this gives him a lot more room to run around. It also works well in the grass.
I bought this playpen to use for my chinchilla. He is a bit of an escape artist but hasnt been able to figure out how to get out of this playpen. Its small enough to fit into the smaller rooms of my house, yet big enough for me to sit inside the playpen with him. He really likes it when I sit inside with him. I always use it with supervision but dont seem to have any problems. Ive been using it for a few weeks now and am happy with it.
Sturdy and flexible...does whta it looks like it does. Ferrents on the other hand get bored in there quit quickly, so its real use is to take them outside under supervision from tiem to time...poor things never get sun, so this is perfect for them.

For ferret owners, you may want to consider purchasing two of the covers. You can put on the bottom and another on the top if you have any escape artists you are worried about while clearning or turning your back for a moment.
i orignally bought the pen for my kids easter bunnies. it worked perfect. my kids were able to get the bunnies out of their cage and sit in the grass with them in the pen. Then we got a puppy and he has been using it. the pen works so much better than the crate that i have used in the past for a puppy. i have him a small animal carrier in the pen for him to sleep in and puppy pads down for him to potty.
We attached this to our rabbits cage so that they could have a small play area during the day. They love having more room than just being in a cage! We also moved a few states away and on the car ride got it out at rest areas to let the bunnies hop around. It worked great! It is strong enough for my one year old daughter to cruise on the outside so she can look at the bunnies.

I bought a second one to attach to the first. I love it for my bunnies. I recommend the canvas mat to go along with it, easy to clean, nice.
