Easy to put together, but having two people works best. Best to put bed in a corner against two walls for better support. Very wobbly, and shakes when climbing ladder which knocks everything off desk. Square narrow ladder bars hurt your bare feet when climbing into bed. I will try pool noodles, but they will look bad. One support pole dented. The support bars under mattress have a small plastic brace to secure the brace into a slot, but not all of them fit in their designated hole for brace.
Ordered a white bed but it came with a black desk. The one piece next to the ladder has holes drilled on the wrong end so I had to drill my own holes into the bar to connect it. Overall it took 3 hours to fully assemble with the help of one other person. Even after assembly the bed is incredibly wobbly. Im using it purely for the desk, I wouldnt trust it to sleep in. Also the frame can only support a mattress less than 5 inches as stated in the description. Good luck finding a comfortable mattress less than 5 inches thick.
My daughter loves it. Fits decently with a standard 8 foot ceiling, where higher beds really dont. Was a lot of work to assemble but wasnt really that hard / just took a while. Seems plenty sturdy for kids. Beautiful and Sturdy.
I received the item as promised. Though I read that you need two people to put the bed up, I did it alone because I have no one to help me. It took me 4 hours to do alone. All of the parts were present and all pieces fit as indicated in the instructions which were very clear. The bed does squeak and move a little when you move around in it. I had to get rubber padding for the ladder steps. Overall, I am pleased with the product. It works.
Great height for younger children. Ample room under bed for storage/play. Set up took about 2 hr. for me by myself. The ladder rungs does make a clanking noise when ascending and descending the bed. Other than that the bed is fairly steady. My 4 year old really likes the bed. Good Product.
