the bed is actually better than what I expected

My daughter loves her bed, it does squeak a little when she moves but she can survive!! the bed is actually better than what I expected, the materials are very sturdy, the only thing I would suggest is buying an 8 mattress otherwise it will be too high and your little one can fall off the bed.

    Shipped in 2 boxes!

Shipment comes from Walker Edison in 2 boxes. 1 box is 51 lbs and the other is 114 lbs. You might not receive the boxes on the same day.

    Fits over Queen bed

This is a great bed for our 3 year old grandson. It fits over the top of a queen sized bed perfectly with extra room on each side. Note: Its hard to change the sheets with it up against the wall. Make sure you consider this when placing in your room. The stair rungs would be better if they were flat instead of round.

    BEDS SHOULDNT BE PARALLELOGRAMS!!

CROOKED. And no, it isnt because I put it together wrong, I triplechecked everything! The holes on the support poles were all drilled slightly (abt 1/4) off kilter. Its not enough to cause structural problems but its enough to notice and WHAT THE ACTUAL *@ If I could give ZERO stars I would!!! AWFUL!!! The instructions arent even that clear, either; I only put it together as well as I did because Im very experienced and good at that sort of thing. Even so it took 4 hours. I will not be buying from this company again, their quality control is CLEARLY balls. As soon as is possible Im replacing this with an bed!!! UGH.

READ THE REVIEWS TO SEE HOW TO ASSEMBLE CROSS BAR PROPERLY OR YOU WILL BE SO MAD YOU DIDNT

The bed itself is actually quite nice. But omg the frickin instructions. I had to come here to the reviews to see why the ladder, which of course is the last piece to install, wouldnt attach. The poor instructions added an extra hour of having to disassemble and reassemble. Time I couldve better well spent watching iZombie and eating pizza.

    Awesome space saving purchase!!

So far so good! Im a single mom with 2 little girls, we live in a smaller 2 story condo and my girls share a room. My oldest (6) picked out this loft bed about 5 months ago and this week I finally decided to surprise her and purchase it! It took my boyfriend about 1 1/2 hours to assemble it and its exactly how I envisioned it. Great for space saving, I even purchased a full sized sofa bed (lays out to a twin size bed) off to go underneath the loft bed so they have a chill spot! My youngest was upgraded from a toddler bed to my oldest daughters daybed, which has a pull out/pop up trundle bed underneath it. So we now have a total of 4 beds in their room and still plenty of space to move around!! Anyone nervous about it being metal and making that horrible screeching noise, DONT. Weve had this metal day bed in my family for 10 years and thats never been a problem. So I highly doubt this loft bed will do it either! Great price and great quality. I will update this review within a few months to share how its doing semi long term.

    Great for adults and kids

Bought this since it had a high approval rating and wasnt too expensive. Very pleased! Bottom mattress is 9 with a 12 pillow top/plush top, and I can sit on the bottom bunk and read to the kids without bumping my head or it being too dark. Ladder rungs hurt my feet if I climb them barefoot, but the kids dont seem to mind, and Ill get used to it. I put a pool noodle on the ladder rungs to see if that would help spread out the load on my feet that didnt do much. Very sturdy, easy to put together, bed doesnt come up off the floor when climbing the ladder. Just make sure you pay attention to where youre putting the openings to mount the ladder, as other reviewers have said. Black version with black hardware is very good looking. The side rails on top didnt seem like theyd fit, because the holes didnt quite match up, but after getting all the screws in and tightening them all slowly in turn, everything ended up together well and tightened up nicely. No problems with shaking, nice and sturdy. Love the 250 lb weight limit per bed.
