These are really cute. I will say the metal support beam is horrible for stubbing your toes. Every night when we tuck our kids in we stun our toes on it. I think we are going to put pool noodles on them until we learn to not step there.
Most of the slats dont screw in they just go into a slight notch which has no stability. Screws should have made much more sense. I am constantly have to lift the mattress to readjust.
Directions were easy to follow and the bed frame is pretty good looking. Only complaint is a couple of the minor pieces were already chipped and rusting by the time it arrived, but it didnt hinder the assembly at all.
Pros: very sturdy, beautiful bedframe, good value for money. Comfortable.
Cons: Hard to put together due to support bars not doing their correct job. The support bars had a hard time staying in the holes and it seemed part of the holes were not drilled in the correct place. My then/fiance spent a frustrating 1 1/2 hours working on putting it together and trying to get support bars to stay in place, they also bent a little.
To date: after 4 months of use (we also bought a non/slip pad for in between frame and mattress to reduce extreme sliding), we still love our bed and has stayed together well.
The bed arrived with some essential pieces missing. After reaching out to the seller, and finding out they were unable to provide the pieces or replace the bed, the seller immediately issued a full refund.
It is a nice looking bed, pretty easy to put together, and I wish we were able to use the bed, but I am happy with how quickly the seller resolved the issue.
First off I would like to say that I love my bed! It arrived fast and in perfect condition and has great design work. Now that being said I gave this product 4 stars instead of the 5 solely because I wanted a pure dark blacker than the night black, but when I received by product I did notice that it was more of a gun metal dark grey. The product description does say that it is a powder finish black; I did not know what this meant so I am assuming now that it just means it is NOT the blackest black you have ever seen. For the price of the bed this was a great buy and how I fixed my problem was by simply going to ACE hardware store and buying a spray paint primer and spray paint metal black and had a DIY moment.
UPDATE: after I left this review the company contacted me several times to try and get me to remove my review. They wouldnt give me a refund. The most they offered was 50.
This bed frame is dangerous. We got about a month out of this frame before support legs started snapping off for no reason (one time I was just changing the sheets a leg fell off). My partner and I started placing bets on what was going to be the thing that broke this bed frame. To our surprise, it was sleeping soundly in the middle of the night. The whole headboard area collapsed and we fell into the wall; fun way to wake up. We had to dismantle the remains because there were sharp metal pieces sticking out from it breaking, and it was beyond fixing to the point where we could not go back to bed deal with it in the morning, we had to disassemble immediately. It was a great 2am experience.
This frame is rickety, it squeaks even from the smallest movement. Id be careful with your more athletic activities if you have this frame I was afraid it was going to break mid/activity Id get impaled by a metal post.

It is not the Blackest Black!
