Comes with a lock, my wife carried this all over Italy. Perfect for a carryon but if you pack it full make sure you weigh it prior to attempting to carry it on. Hard shell held up nicely, she really liked it.
The suitcase is exactly the right size for carry-on with Alaska Airlines. It fits so much more than it looks like and is very light weight. I had no trouble getting it into the over-head bin. The four wheels make getting through the airport a breeze. To top it off, its very attractive too.

Gold color is great
Got this as a gift to my sister for their traveling. It is a perfect size and I love the gold color. It seems durable.

The 3 luggage have no expandable zipper. I should have made sure from the pix before buying...
