It does the trick. Compressed plywood with good looking finishes. Seems sturdy and according to the instructions, you can set a tv up to 35lbs on top. We are using it as shoe storage for our entryway. Smoked the glass so our shoes arent visible. Assembly is straightforward with clear instructions, labeled pieces and a bag of spare parts.
Deduct one star because the back of the cabinet is two thin pieces of cardboard held together with tape. I though it would be more tick solid plywood like the other sides of the cabinet. Fortunately, the cardboard sit against the wall so we dont accidentally bump it with our knees and break it.

Im happy with this cabinet. It looks like the picture and is of the quality I expect from a particleboard piece. It took about 30 minutes for me to assemble on my own. I did notice a few reviews that state the doors were too short or bowed. I looked at the pictures posted and it seems these customers/reviewers assembled the hinges improperly. The doors should fit inside the frame of the cabinet, they should not rest in the outer edge. The half of the hinge that attaches to the door should sit on top of the half that attaches to the cabinet, not underneath. The hinges are also adjustable so I suggested loosening all the screws and shifting and tightening as needed to align everything. The picture in the instructions isnt super clear so I think thats why there may be some confusion.

Its not high/end furniture, but for DIY flat/pack with thin plastic melamine fake wood surfaces / its better than many others. Great directions.
Very solid little cabinet
Was easy to put together although it took a bit to get the second door balanced. Looks good, am using it for my printer.
