Loved it! Dont listen to the bad reviews, it is what it is. People are so annoying. If you are looking for a 5,000 sofa this is not that but it is a great piece of furniture. Exactly the style I was looking for and if you read your measurements provided you will know if it will fit in your space or not. I am in Florida so the comments of it being a light piece of furniture did not bother me. Again if you were more from the East Coast or some place like that and you are looking for that heavy furniture then this may or may not be for you but because of the Oatmeal Tweed I ordered it is a yummy fabric, very cozy. Also some people commented on a weight limit situation. Ummm.people there is a support post in the middle of the sofa. Is anybody ever happy or do they just like to go online to complain about anything. At least let it be truthful. Who puts a support post underneath there sofa, I have had lots of sofas in my life and this is my first to do that so it was a pleasant surprise after I was a little nervous from reading some of the negative reviews. I am so glad I went for it and ordered two of them anyways. Yes they are a little stiff but you can tell that the fabric, at least the Oatmeal Tweed does, has give to it so it is like a new mattress, just give it time to break in a little. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for mid/century mod on a budget to go for it I think you will be happy. Good product for its value
These are absolutely beautiful chairs!!!! They are a little stiff to start but after sitting in them they soften up. The back height is perfect as it comes up to my shoulders (I am 54) and my son and I can sit in one chair and read his books. If seating is tight (we had a New Years party) adults were even sitting 2 per chair. Color is very rich looking and assembly is a breeze. I get compliments on these chairs all the time. They are mod, but modern at the same time. Absolutely beautiful! Please dont mind the baseball in my photo below! It was long winter! I was so excited to use it
This is a cool chair, but as others have posted, the screw/in legs are a but problematic. They dont all screw in perfectly even, hence the extra washers that come with it to go between the legs and the bottom of the frame. You cant notice the extra washers, though.
Also, be careful not to screw the legs too tight, as you can either crack the frame (one poster noted this) or, as I did, loosen the anchored metal casings the screws go into (the casing themselves are screwed into the frame). I was able to fix this by using some super glue on a casing, screwing it back into the frame, and the screwing the leg back into the casing. I would suggest using the extra washers supplied before over/tightening any legs to achieve the correct angle for each while still feeling fully supportive. The supplied instructions are not helpful, fyi.
Once assembled (thats it, just screwing in the legs and tinkering with the balance and correct support), it does not feel cheap at all. However, there are plastic glides on the legs that seem to defy friction, so I highly suggest placing this on a rug so it doesnt slide all over the place.
In terms of comfort, it is a very firm chair, but huge. Normal/sized people can easily curl up on it with a book or sit sideways with their legs draped over an arm to watch tv. Definitely requires a lumbar/decorative pillow purchase, though.
The color in the picture is very accurate. I would say it leans slightly towards a bit of a darker teal, but you can safely go by the picture on the site and not be disappointed. Wish the legs were a bit darker, but theyre hardly noticeable.

It looks nice, but thats about it. While installing the legs I noticed that the wood blocking around the inset bolt on one corner was cracked. Hoping for the best I installed the leg anyway, however, the compromised blocking wasnt up to the task and cant hold the leg in place. The rest of the build quality is mediocre at best on close inspection. I was hoping for something a little tougher for the price. Probably the last time Ill buy furniture over the internet. Live and learn.
Will have to disappoint my girlfriend for Christmas and its going to be a pain to return due to the size. Not at all what it seems in the pictures
Great style, well constructed. This chair was much wider than expected and I LOVE it. Some reviews complain that its not cushy. I agree, it IS firm but I love that. The best reading chair: room to curl up and wide enough to have a pile of books beside you. Best quality product
Terrible piece of crap furnitureDONT BUY!!! This is made in China, no one at LexMod nor can tell me if it contains flame retardant in the foam material. The sales manager at was clueless and said he had no idea as it is made in China. The sales staff at Lexmod couldnt spell retardant.in short, please sell yourself short on its looks but poor knowledge of the supply chain. Your kids and your family will be sitting on some junk. Dont recommend this product.
Aming and big. You can fit 2 skinny people per chair. Larger scale than anticipated but I love them. Easy fast ship and assembly. Sturdy too! Nice color. Very mid century modern Mad Men chic. Everything is nice!
