Wow!! This was a great buy!! We needed some extra storage near a guest bathroom that has a pedestal sink and no cabinets. This fills that need well. It fits our corner space perfectly, a space that would serve no other purpose but which now serves a much appreciated purpose, and it looks wonderful too.
The assembly was interesting. Not difficult and could be done by one person but the triangle shaped pieces make it awkward and an extra set of hands helps. There is a paint smell right out of the box but it fades away pretty well.
I read the reviews about the wood splitting and sure enough, the first screw I put in split the wood. I removed the screw and glued and clamped it then checked the size of the screw hole with the size of the screw and the hole wasnt big enough. I drilled it to the correct size and it worked good. With he rest of the assembly I checked the hole size with the size of the screw and I had to drill about half of them to a bigger size. I also would start the screw in the hole before attaching the other piece and watched the wood very carefully and if I saw it start to split or buckle I would drill it a little bit bigger (just be careful not to go too big).
Several of the pieces had small chips in the paint and not too noticeable scratches. There were some imperfections in the finish in a few pieces too, but if you dont examine it too closely it looks pretty good. Just took longer to assemble than it should have because of the problems mentioned.
Yes, Its great. loves it. Quality is good on this corner cabinets. All the panels were very well cut. No sharp edges. Took me about 40 mins with hand tools to put together. Hinges open and close smoothly. Nice addition to my bedroom.
Like! The measurements are off but the cabinet is nice. It doesnt fit the space I intended to use it in, but I was able to find a different space for it. I use it to hold my towels and wash cloths. All in all it was really nice. It was pretty easy to put together too!
