I had this piece on my Want list for a while before purchasing it with a birthday gift card. Im so glad I did! It goes well with my hardwood floors and looks nice. It arrived quickly and was packaged well. It did ship in original box, just FYI if its a gift or that might make a difference to some. It was pretty easy to assemble, took my husband about 30 minutes. It seems quite sturdy and holds a couple of backpacks and several pairs of shoes (toddler and mens) and jackets. Well made and packaged.
The pile of scattered shoes was starting to bother me and a shoe bench was needed. Browsing thru eventually got me eyeing this item. It turned out to be what I needed: a shoe rack and a sort of living room accessory to fill the blank wall/ space next to the front door. With this piece, now my living room has achieved a more balanced look. The dark wood color and the steel rods look pretty rustic yet classy. The illustrated manual (no words) is pretty easy enuff to follow as all the parts and diff type screws are labeled. Assembly is still tedious however. I only had to bend down like 80x to pick up the darn allen wrench as it kept sliding from my grip along with other parts that I also kept dropping when in my hand. And then the pre/drilled holes for the coat hooks are too tiny, you need to enlarge the holes some before screwing the hooks into themJust too much hard labor involved it really drained me after 2.5 hrs of putting it together. Im happy with the end look tho. Good quality.
easy to assemble, love the bench with the 2 shelves where both of us can sit and put our shoes on. the hooks are great for hanging coats/sweaters, hats, keys the moment you enter the house. Value for money.
Screws that are used for the hooks werent great, I had 3 that stripped and/or broke off in the boards. I was able to glue on for them off so its hardly noticeable. Overall I think its beautiful and great for the space I needed it for. Just be careful putting the screws in the hooks. My daughter love it!!!
Ok, mostly everything about this thing is great with a couple exceptions. Im not sure if it was just me but when you get to screwing the coat hangers on the wood, some of the pre drilled holes were too small so I needed to drill bigger holes.
Also, when you screw on the bench part, you might have trouble getting some of the screws into the hole if that happens you might have to loosen the other screws.
Its not the most stable and sturdy coat hanger on the market but its strong enough for my purposes. I dont put a bunch of stuff on it, just the basics. Love it.
Plenty of storage for us and perfect for our small foyer! We love this piece! My son sits on the bench to put on his shoes. We can hang coats, backpacks and my purse. Love it! Save some money and buy this.

Instructions were very easy to follow! Put this together in about 20 or 30 minutes. Fits perfectly in our corner, highly recommend. Expected.
