One of the doors keeps detaching from the unit. Its not salvageable since each time it tore away, it damaged where the hinge attaches. Really disappointed. I should have just bought an bookshelf for the money I spent on this.
The fixed shelves turn your hands blue. This is mine and my husbands hands after 2 days of washing them. When I built it I had blue on my arms, on my face, my legs, and my hands were beyond blue. Unless you wanna be a Smurf Id suggest you keep looking.
It wasnt easy to assemble in my opinion. Its pretty sturdy except the back is not wood but a cardboard material painted as wood, I did not like that. Otherwise its pretty good.
