It was difficult to assemblescrews not fitting through the cloth easily. It squeaks just a little when you rock in it. But love the appearance and it IS comfortablewould absolutely buy it again. Takes up less space.
I think this is a nice mid/century modern style rocking chair at a great price. It comes with few pieces and is easy to assemble. My wife and I are both tall, I am 63 and the rocking motion is comfortable, however its not a giant chair and for me theres no headrest to speak of though I assumed that before buying. It may be too narrow for some people, but its been praised by a lot of adult company of ours that have sat in it. We use it in a nursery and like the more compact size. Hard to comment on but the gray color was exactly what I was expecting. very stable.
The product looks great but trying to get the back attached to the seat has been impossible for me. You basically have a bolt you are blindly trying to insert while holding the back of the chair from falling. You cant tell if the back is lined up left to right or top to bottom correctly. Seems like they could have avoided this by having the bolt attached to the back of the chair so you feed that through the hole then attach a nut to tighten. As it is designed right now, I am not sure if I will be able to get it assembled, I have spent 30 mins so far trying to get lucky, so I will have to box it up and ship it back for a refund.

However, it was not easy to attach the bottom to the chair. The bottom comes in one piece. I had to use 2 dry wall screws to go into /wood because the pre/drilled holes did not line up. Suggest two people. All in all, not too bad, took about 20 minutes.
Yes, I would recommend the Upholstered Rocking Chair. Simple to put together.
I overall love this chair. It is not the most comfy but it is firm which I personally like. It rocks very gently and is a roomy enough chair for me (200lbs) and my husband (260 lbs) to sit in comfortably. The assembly though was a huge pain. The wooden pieces that attach to the bottom are no biggie. But when you get to putting on the top backrest piece/ it took us a combined total of about 2 hours. It had three screws and they all had to go in just right in order to screw on correctly. It is a bit hard to explain over a review but just keep in mind you will have to be very patient and gentle with the screws while installing. Well made just what I was looking for!
WORST INSTRUCTIONS EVER. The chair itself seems nice, but I wont know until I can have someone help me out it together!!! The instructions are awful, just photos. I figured it out after some deciphering, but when it came time to attach the back of the chair to the base? IMPOSSIBLE. Literally. I tried for 25 minutes by myself and cant get it. Terrible design flaw.
A very beautiful addition to our room. Good price for the value. Sturdy frame. It is a more narrow seat but, my 6 husband fits and it has a nice high back and firm arms for support. Was a little tricky to install the seat back but, all in all not too bad. This item was correct.
The worst putting together maybe I got a defective one but it took me an hour to put it together with my friends. It was horrible but the way the chair is put together you have to line up the screws that you cant see in this hole to put another screw through the hole! I listen to all the reviews and I was really excited to think that maybe this was the chair for me but if it wasnt so hard to put together and Im box and stuff I wouldve just took it back. I wish I did take it back but unfortunately Im not going through all that work to undo it all Im just gonna wait until it breaks because honestly if youre a heavyset person I dont think this chair will support your weight the the way the back of the chair is it its Tilton and you cant see those those screws to put in to the arm of the chair. I think all these reviews are fake honestly because Im a big shop run I like a good deal but I like quality souls been a little bit more money but this is really bad.

Nice chair with challenging assembly
Trouble with some screws and had to buy an additional screw to make backrest attach to the seat as they did not align properly. Works well.
