Very sturdy, definitely greater than it looks. At first I forgot to put on the 2 horizontal bars and it was already quite sturdy.
Also it has the most storage space among all the nightstands I have seen, 2 large drawers, 1 tall shelf and 1 top.
Its a litter taller than others but it matches my tall bed perfectly. This is really easy to assemble and pretty sturdy.
