Great loft bed for small space. I was able to put the whole bed together by myself but at the end, I needed someone to help lift it upright. Took about 3 hours without rushing. Instructions were clear but dont tighten screws until the end. I also recommend going from top to bottom when putting together the stairs. There was one point where one of the screws didnt align but it was because I didnt do it order. Once I went back and redid it in order, everything aligned perfectly. Great mint green color that was my daughters choice. We have a full sized bed underneath. It came well packaged, but it still had a minor dent, but not enough to return it. It has metal slats that easily bends so I bought fabric covered wooden slats on that fit over the metal ones for extra support. Now, I dont worry that the bed would end up bowed underneath. It feels sturdy and doesnt feel like it would tip when going up the stairs. The stairs are thick and flat so they dont hurt my feet when climbing up. Would recommend.
READ the instructions. I loved how it turned out. My queen bed fits under it just perfectly. My daughter (5 year old) now has her own bed and I have mine
I like this bed. It serves its purpose well in a super tiny room inhabited by a person that doesnt want to sleep on an action figure sized twin mattress. I flail and thrash about in bed at night on a daily basis; haunted by the horrors of everyday modern life so a bit of room is necessary for me to rest well. So I had the genius thought: Ill put the mattress in the air. And I did. And let me tell you. Im sleeping above all of you now, and its all thanks to this bed frame.
Really sturdy and was easy to assemble with some extra hands on deck to help. Only downside is the ladder. It can really hurt your feet going up and down, highly recommend adding cushions to the rungs to help.
This baby took me and my sister about 3 hours to assemble. My kids sat in the room eating snacks cracking up about how much we were fighting about the assembly. She just about left twice. It was a true nightmare. Once put together it has been very sturdy. The ladder leaves much to be desired. Its truly painful going up and down. My 13 year old is 63 and 177lbs. The first time he got up there he got stuck bc hes so tall that it takes special maneuvering to get down it. My sons queen size bed is under it and it fits just right, with not an inch to spare.
I was a little skeptical of buying bunkbeds online. Not seeing it in person beforehand. This is a great bed, it was easy to assemble. The shipping box was small and easy to move inside. The instructions were easy to follow (pay attention to which direction the side rails face when assembling / we had to take ours out and turn them around because we werent as detail oriented as we should have been). Overall two adults had it put together within an hour!
Exactly what I wanted, except it is extremely wobbly! Im a 140 lb woman who just wanted more space when I moved. Im short so I figured it would be perfect. Any little movement, and this baby is swaying. Its a little scary, but I think once I mount it to the wall it will be fine. Ill update when I do.
Wasnt too hard to assemble. Im not sure why this bunk bed was built without a climbing in space! The ladder steps is extremely uncomfortable and small and roundI dont know why it wasnt made with a flat base. If you get this bed make sure to buy foam or your feet will be really really sore.
