The bed was great except for the ladder. I had to buy pool noodles and cut them up to place over the round parts you walk on. It would hurt my sons feet so bad to walk up it. I also could not stand on it with out pain. The bars are round and should be flat. Also there is no where to get into the bed once you on the ladder you have to put your body over the railing. That is probably safe while sleeping, but not while climbing over the high rail. Otherwise I would have given it a 5 star rating. All the pieces were there and though it is time consuming to put together, it looks really good and is sturdy. LOVE LOVE LOVE
The bed is overall fine, and my son loves it. It does shimmy a little.
The desk and shelves have so far proved useful and storing his bric/a/brac This product is pretty decent for the price
Good bed not super easy to assemble but not that bad either. The ladder is a horrible design its almost impossible to climb without shoes or slippers on. My fix was to get pieceses of 1/8 x 2 x 10 1/2 steel and weld them to the round steps 100 better to climb, If you dont have a welder or the knowledge to do it search for a welding shop in your area and ask them if they will do it for you as the ladder comes off with 2 bolts. This is awesome!
My daughter LOVES this bed! It wasnt hard to put together, but it was time consuming. The legs dont have finished bottoms. Make sure you get felt for the legs or it will tear up hard wood. Overall, good looking and great bang for your buck. Easy setup and sturdy!
I promised my son a couple of years ago, that as soon as we bought a house I would buy him this bed. Well, I finally bought a house so I had to live up to my promise. I was hoping it would have went down in price but it seemed even more expensive then I remembered. Bought it anyways and when I received it was not thrilled with the prospect of putting it together by myself.
The bed/box is really heavy. I ended up having no choice but to take the pieces of it out, while it was still on my porch. There is what seems like a million pieces, though the company is quite thoughtful and gives you spare pieces (this was really nice). I did have to go get some washers and nuts from Lowes because the ones they give you really didnt work so well for putting the back piece on by the desk area.
I was able to put it together all by myself, though it would be a lot easier if you had some help. The ladder part for your feet is absolutely awful and would be so much better if it were flat instead of round. Did what others have done (knew beforehand because of reviews) and used a pool noodle for the steps. Will figure out something different later on down the line. I also dont like how the bed somewhat moves (which I understand why it does and why it needs to), I would just feel more comfortable if it didnt. Love this product. No issues.
I like the product the only thing I disliked was that the stairs are steel bars and it doesnt support your feet. You will need shoes to climb up. Best deal for a very nice

Climbing up and down is very tough.
There is no opening to climb up and down. Its very inconvenient. But its value for money. I have to say Im pretty disappointed so far.
