Purchased this bunk bed a month ago. It came promptly. The pieces were packaged very well in a very organized fashion which we appreciated. The screws, for instance, werent all thrown into a plastic bag but were packaged separately by type and all the pieces were labeled. The instructions were in the box and were pretty easy to follow. My husband did most of the work of putting the bed together, I only had to help sometimes. It took a couple hours. The only issue we had was that some of the small plastic pieces used for holding some of the bars in place broke while trying to put them in, but that is probably more due to our lack of caution in placing them correctly. They should be snapped in carefully rather than just trying to shove them into place quickly. (It would be nice if some extras were included since they do break pretty easily.)
The bed is quite sturdy. We are using it in our boys room and they tend to be pretty rowdy kids. It takes some effort to change the bottom from a bed to a couch, which is good. Id rather the kids werent able to do it themselves. They love the bed. Especially since the bottom has room enough for them to sleep together, which they like to do sometimes.
Im going to order another one for my daughters room. Worth every penny.
The only reason this gets 4 stars instead or 5 is because it did not arrive on the date given. great bed, my son loves it and the futon is very comfy. It was a 3 hour job to put together and instructions were very well done. Love the color and I feel it will stand up to the rough tough boy that will be using it. Me likey!
Four stars due to instructions were difficult to follow and I am not a fan of the allen wrench!!! But, once completed it is a great piece. Looks great and works great!
Came quickly with all pieces. Was able to assemble within a few hours/ I think about 3 or 4 actually. Directions were good as long as you pay attention to the pictures. The bed is sturdy, but is quite squeaky/ WD40, maybe. We ended up attaching it to the wall to be safe. The ladders are rough on the feet/ get some pipe insulation wrap and place it around the rungs. The front catch on the futon level didnt seem to line up quite right, even though everything else did, but that couldve been my putting something together incorrectly. The bars that support the upper bunk dont look very strong, but my 190 has been able to climb up there with my son and not fall through. No mattresses are included, so dont trust the picture. Overall, I would buy this again, if given the option. My son LOVES IT and thats what matters most. Do not buy it you will regret it

Great sturdy bed!! Directions were pretty clear. This is the perfect bed for adding space to a room! Very nice quality and looks nice.
