I needed a comfortable chair for my 9-hour work days at my home office. My little mid-century desk chair looks cute, but wasnt cutting it for the long days! I wanted something comfortable and supportive, but also wanted it to go with my office decor such as it is.
This chair is a good fit. Its pretty, has a good amount of padding (especially compared to hard old stationary desk chair) and it is even narrow enough to slide under my desk. Rolls easily.
Took about 5 minutes to assemble and was very easy.
One negative is, it doesnt seem to go any lower than the initial setting, so, having short legs, I use one of the support legs as a foot rest. The back does allow me to lean back, flex, etc., but is still supportive.
I dont know how this chair will hold up, especially with my three evil cats, but at least its starting out life at five stars, and my arthritic old bones are very much happier!
I like the look of this product but I cannot attest to its comfort or sturdiness since I am missing a key component to put it together. The seller has been notified of this so I may come back to amend this review. At this point Im just annoyed.
Update: the seller did return my email. The missing piece shown in the diagram is now part of the leg assembly. Very nice person explaining things to me and I am now using this lovely chair for my COVID office.
Now that we are working from home for the foreseeable future, I decided to invest in a more comfortable home office environment. I had to carve out some space in my LR for a desk area. I wanted a chair that would be comfortable and work with our existing furniture. I ordered the Stone Beige color and its a good neutral.
The chair cushion is thick and very comfortable for the hour I used it last night. Assembly was a breeze. I did it largely on my own in about 15 minutes. Assembly consisted of little more than 8 screws and 6 steps. I had help only when aligning the seat back to the bottom of the chair: one person to hold while the other screwed the two parts together.
I am petite but had no problems adjusting the chair height to work for me. The men in my family were able to easily re-position the chair height for their tall frames.
The only negative is that the chair fabric has a slight order, only noticeable when sitting in the chair. I Febreezed it, but can still smell the slight order. I imagine this will dissipate in the coming days (hope so!)
UPDATE: I can confirm the fabric odor is completely gone!
I was a little intimidated by the thought of having to put this chair together, especially because the instructions recommend two people assemble it, but I felt so silly just under 30 minutes later. Finished product was better than expected and very easy to put together. I ordered this chair in Lilac but really wanted Blush Pink (sold out). Color did not disappoint; vibrant with a pastel vibe. Im 510 and I wont mention my weight but suffice it to say this chair is comfy and feels sturdy for a girl my size. I would definitely recommend and purchase again!
I was sent a replacement chair that was 95% better than the last so I kept it. Chair is very very comfortable and proved to be easy to clean after my baby marked it up with sharpies.
1st chair: NOT impressed with my chairs condition. Right out of the packaging I could immediately see areas where the material was snagged and pulling. I wouldnt buy this used if it were in this condition. Now I have to disassemble what I had already done, repackage and send back in HOPES that the next one doesnt come with the same issues. Not to mention get this thing to the nearest UPS store, its a HEAVY box!
I love this chair, I bought it for my vanity. I chose this style because the chairs height is adjustable, I had a custom vanity installed in my bathroom and standard vanity chairs didnt meet the height of my vanity. This chair is beautiful and adjustable, and beautiful. The blue velvet is stunning and soft. Only honest drawback is that it did have a horrible smell. Its almost like mothballs mixed with bug repellent. I sprayed the chair several times with febreze for fabrics and it is completely gone. Also, since it is in my bathroom the fan and the steam from showers or baths has also helped get rid of smell. Its smell free and beautiful.
