Bought two of these chairs on sale from Target. Like the looks, beige color, pretty easy to assemble, but getting the back bolted on was a bit of a challenge - took a friend to help hold in place while bolts were started. Low arms fit under the table when chair not in use - good for our small space. After 10 days of use in our home office/dining area, my wife and I both said the same thing - that the chair seems to tilt forward. Several reviewers find it hard to tilt back which is true. I adjusted the apparent tilt forward condition by installing 2 flat washers between the seat bottom mounting plate and the seat bottom, on the two front bolts. This is an improvement! We will continue to monitor, but we are now satisfied.
This chair is perfect! I have an antique flip top desk and needed a low but comfortable chair. Its supportive and the lower back makes it perfect for looking slightly up at my computer monitor. It was really easy to assemble (the holes didnt line up at first, but its a cushion chair, you have to compress it slightly to get it to line up). I assembled it in about 5 minutes.
I was expecting easy assembly and a great chair after the reviews. Assembly took 1.5 hours, as the holes on the seat that attach it to the back didnt line up. Only got 3/4 screws in and now I wonder if the chair is sturdy/good quality. Aside from that, it looks nice and seems comfortable. It has some lumbar support which is good. Still, Im considering returning it...
I like it quite a bit! It feels a little firm but I expect it to soften up. Packaged very well, no damage from shipping. Not at all easy to get seat attached to back but other reviewers warned about this so it was expected - took 2 people though. All the rest (what little there is to do) can easily be done by one person. The color is a very light gray and looks very nice. I replaced the casters with a set from as these were hard plastic and rough on hardwood floors. Glad I made this purchase for home office! One important note - Im 5 61/2 (with average inseam) and at lowest setting this is just low enough for proper posture and feet flat on floor. Anyone shorter may have issues with the chair height but taller would be happy.
Love this chair! Kudos to the people who packed it - everything was protected - 5 easy easy assembly steps.. I did need someone to help me push on the seat cushion to line up screw holes (but I am 67 and dont have the strength I used to have!) so that took maybe a minute or so extra .. but otherwise literally put together in about 15 to 20 minutes tops. Extremely comfortable .. Will highly recommend to anyone looking for a good quality desk chair.
Memory foam is a generous term. Im a thin guy, and its pretty firm, doesnt feel like memory foam at all. If I wear shorts, the material irritates my skin -- and I dont have sensitive skin. But its a nice/medium size and it looks nice, so its okay.
Mine didnt come with any assembly instructions, but its pretty straightforward.
