Excellent. Well made and great appearance. Well packed and bar stools arrived in "mint" condition ahead of schedule. Simple drawings that made assembly easy. I bought six of them and they looked great in my kitchen. The only problem was figuring out how to adjust seat height, but I figured in out with some experimentation. (They should include instruction to adjust seat height).
I'm disabled so standing for long periods of times in kitchen preparation for some meals was hard. This chair is as beautiful as pictured, it was easy to assemble. The seat and footrest is comfortable, perfect height for bar and counter tops. It makes chopping and other tasks in the kitchen so much easier on back and hips. Highly recommend this. If only my desk chair had that seat design.....
Easy assembled in minutes. Looks great. Perfect accent to my kitchen counter bar. Friends and family love them too.
Base plate is not solid, however not really required as the balancing is perfect.

I like the barstool, it looks great. My only reservation is it is a bit smaller, especially the seat than I thought it would be.
