My 6 year old was hoping to find a bit more room in her bedroom for all her dolls and stuffed animals. She was very particular to what wall she wanted her bed on. This junior sized loft bed fit all her requirements.
I wish the instructions had been a bit more detailed. It took my husband and I 3 hours to assemble and in that time we had many start overs because the instructions were not that easy to decipher.
I wish the bed had actual screws rather than Allen wrench screws. They are a pain, the provided tool is cheap and flimsy and can be difficult to maneuver. It would of been a lot easier with my drill.
It feels a bit wobbly when you first get on it. It scared my daughter. We re/enforced the bottom frame to add a bit more stability but it still wobbles. I feel confident that the bed is safe though. I think she just needs to get used to it.
Overall I feel you get what you pay for. I did not want to spend a lot because I know in a couple of years she will want a completely different room, so this works for now! Debating if we are going to keep it or return it.
I love it so much! Its just like the picture and if you have a drill its super easy to assemble! My son loves it. The bottom part is perfect for forts!!! And we added LED lights and its awesome.
This bed is most definitely not for a junior! Its a waste of money. Plus once we received the bed, we started to put it together and then after we were almost done just had a couple of more pieces/screws to put in and come to find out, its missing a screw hole! For a very important piece of the bed. Also the bed was very wiggly and squeaky. I could hear my daughter every single time she had or was moving in her room even with her door closed and also my door closed. And it is most absolutely not 5 feet underneath it as like someone had said in a previous comment because my daughter is 52 and she was having to go into her knees to get under the loft. Even my 10 year old daughter was to big for this bed and shes a tiny little girl. I then put in a return instantly right away and found an even better bed that was all aming wood and had built in shelves and was much higher up and way more roomy underneath the loft and absolutely more sturdy and the ladder was super soft for her to go up and down on. And then also it was pure white and it was just absolutely beautiful. And funny thing is, I only paid like an extra 20.00 / 30.00 for the nice and newer and perfect ACTUAL loft bed thats ACTUALLY MEANT for a junior! Wouldnt recommend
The only problem, so far, is the assembly. The box was big and heavy. The box was seriously sealed up. I had horrible time trying to get into it. Now Someone like my mother, if she were to buy this, she would have never gotten it up the stairs, she would have never gotten into the box.
The instructions are clear enough, its not that hard.
My biggest REAL problem is the cheap tool they give you. Its soft metal bends into a circle and im not able to tighten the screwsluckily I own a much better made tool. If I didnt own my own , I would have been in real trouble. the tool kept slipping every tightening. I thought I was stripping the screw. When I changed the tool I was perfect. The bed took long time to put together but its nice.
My 5 year old loves it. Its not too tall where it scares the kid. Its just right. There is enough room under to put a low dresser or play area. I like it , my kid likes it. Its nice.
Just wish it was about 70cheaper. IKEA has them about 100as far as I know there the same bed frame.
Great size bed frame, sturdy and the perfect height to get my son off the filthy floor of the room he rented for college. It was very easy to put together and looks great. My son is 63 about 155 and hes very comfortable. Comes as shown in picture.
My young daughter loves her loft bed! She uses the under bed area as a play space. Its sturdy! It took 3 people to assemble but once assembled is easy to move. Her only complaint is the stairs are uncomfortable to climb. The instructions were perfect! I didnt get confused at all

Nice. Bigger than I thought. Buy a better hexagon tool.
