After two months the railing on one end completely snapped off.my 55 lb 6 year old would use it to brace himself when climbing on the top bunk. Even with all the extra supports, this is fairly flimsy overall. It works great for a 6 and 8 year old but likely would not fly for older kids.
The only complaint I could have is the tallness of the bed. We only have 8 foot ceilings and the bed is pretty high. Having said that I would buy this bed 100 times over. The price for what you get is fair. It is simple assembly, my 3 boys put it together by themselves, and does what a bed should do. I have looked at wooden versions for years, but think this is the best bed we have ever bought, it is our 4th or 5th bunk bed.
Weve had this almost 3 months, purchased it after having to move in at my parents house due to illness. My Father and my husband said it went together very quickly, and easily. Our kids are both almost 100lbs, and while it wobbles a bit / it is also on hardwood flooring. Im hoping once we get it back to our house on carpet, the wiggle wont be as bad. We all love this Bunk bed.
i am 18 and going to college. i ordered this for my roommate and i and he was gone at the time so i sent it up all by myself. the box came opened which i didnt mind. took me about 3 hours to assemble. i had all the pieces. very sturdy and very well together. we are happy with the bed and the mattresses we also purchased on . i would recommend this to people looking for beds.
only buying these from now on. No other discount bunk beds can compete. Grantedthese are discount bunk beds, so keep that in mind. No rocking or swaying, unless youre looking to get injured. Me likey!
The kids are terrified to roll over at night or to even climb up and down. Great priced item and worked perfectly for us as we had two full sized mattresses but I would prefer a sturdier item. It shakes and squeaks as you climb up and down. Not sure if it was worth what we paid because we are waiting for it to come crashing down at any moment.
This product met all my expectations. Be sure to position the little plastic retainers so they are easy to pop in. If not easy just turn them around. It looks fabulous.

I put most of it together myself, only calling for my husbands help once or twice. I will say it would have been faster with 2 people, but is doable for one. Yes, the stairs hurt to climb, but nothing a pool noodle cant fix, my 6 year old manages fine. Yes the upper bunk wobbles, but my husband and I feel like it isnt a saftey issue. In fact he says its a well built bed, hes a welder and is impressed. So for the money this cant be beat.
