As a sofa, it fits perfectly up against my wall. It is a low to the ground, but its not too low. You can see in my pictures that the seat cushion starts right above my ankles, so you can sit comfortably on this sofa. It can easily sit three average size people.
As a bed: You can see the length is fixed. I am 58, and I barely fit lengthwise. If you are taller, it would work best to fold it out and sleep on your side.
