Fairly simple to put together, extremely sturdy and heavy. Definitely recommend putting it together in its final home. Highly recommend. Exactly what I was looking for at a reasonable price.
I bought this for my son so he could display his favorite anime characters. He is thrilled with it! I was surprised it made it all the way to us without any damage. But the package was extremely heavy.
I was able to put a lot of glasses and dishes in there that did not fit in our china hutch. I got two units and put them on opposite corners of the dining room; they are completely unobtrusive, quite beautiful in fact. A nice plus was that they matched our walnut dining room furniture perfectly! Only minus is that the manufacturer mislabeled two shelves (2 and 3 were reversed), and the top shelf was not lining up. I had to disassemble and reassemble three times until I figured out what the problem was. The manufacturer should perform quality control on those small things. Other than that, assembly was a breeze.
The piece is very nice looking, I finally had my brother put it together for me. The finish scraps off easily and the wood dents and breaks very easily.I do not like that. I love the style and the finished look. Very Nice addition to my room. Of course I had to turn it to hide the dent and scrape
