I am not overly mechanical, but this was fairly easy to put together - it took less than an hour. I am quite happy with it. I was concerned at first about the mattress slipping, but no problems there, either. I'd recommend this bed frame.
Pro - Our daughter's room is only 9x10 so we needed something smaller to fit with her other furniture, this works perfectly, sturdy, the color we wanted (gold) and a great price! Fits better than her last bed did in her space, only a few inches longer than the actual mattress so excellent space saver!
Con - Who sends large silver washers and hardware for a gold metallic finish?! Images just showed screws, not large washers. Unhappy with that, they stick out noticably against the gold finish. Otherwise it would've gotten 5 stars.
We used an hour to assemble it and it looks good after we finished it.but it seems a little longer than a twin bed so it doesnt quite fit our twin bed mattress.
