The arms have relatively little padding, but a good pillow can easily fix that. And it is possible to lay completely flat on the chaise, I'm enjoying to get comfortable and relax on the sofa. FedEx sent the 2 boxes to me and they all comes safely. It comes faster than I thought. I installed it in about 40minute, and finished it by myself. It's really easy to install. It has been the perfect place for me and my cats to take a nap. Now the kitty just like the sofa instead of my bed..and so do I! Great addition to any living room! Buy the couch with confidence!
