Received this unit and it was exactly as expected. My parents have one and was the reason we bought this. The unit was in perfect condition. Looks good and very functional with the hidden power ports, pull out drink shelf and magazine rack in the back.
love this couchside stand. i pretty much use the small compartment where the electrical ports are to house a couple of my remote controls. the back magazine rack has a book i leave there. though what i really love is the cup holder pullout tray. i put my cups there neatly while i watch tv. the inside compartment i haven't used just yet. not so sure what to place in there. maybe a couple misc video game controllers, or just use it for small storage. but all in all, very happy with this!
I ordered one of these to test it out and am now ordering another to go with it. It is well made and attractive, look like a more expensive piece that it is. I needed slim lines since our family room is cramped so this is a space saver for us. Also wanted the pull out tray since i don't have room for a coffee table, etc.. Only two downsides to this piece: 1. Tray could by much deeper to leave a better drawer for holding pens, post-its and small stuff that accumulates, and 2. it would be nice to have the option of a right-side or left-side opening for the door to the cabinet, since it's awkward to open while sitting if the knob is on the opposite side. Otherwise, a sturdy and useful table.
Just got our two tables, and so far we love them! They arrived well packaged and safe. Just a note- the shelf was attached to the bottom of the table. We initially thought we didn't get the shelf, but then we thought to look underneath. They look great in our family room!
I really like the quality of this piece considering the cost. My husband and I saw this in a local furniture store on sale and we liked it. But even on sale we purchased this at a much lower price through with free shipping for being a Prime member. The shipping box(cardboard) had re-enforced corners and arrived intact; like new from the store. The outlets in the table are super handy for charging my phone or tablet.
The pictures and description are very accurate. This is a very nice and functional table. I plan to purchase two more when I finish redoing my living room.
