I got the otter chair for under $200 which made up for my thinking it might be too brownish. Its actually much more of a neutral to my eye than in photos. My home decor is 50 shades of so Im really happy about that. The quality is pretty solid for the price point and, most importantly, its really comfortable. Im used to modern and not super cushy fluffy upholstered furniture and this is firm but not rigid. The height is perfect and the arms are ideal for elbows. I hope my cat doesnt shred it to oblivion.
After endlessly searching for a reasonably priced sofa for weeks, I never thought I would find it on . First off, I was a bit nervous spending $1,500 on a sofa without seeing it in person. Nevertheless, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and the delivery service (I received the sofa in 1 week). In comparison, I almost pulled the trigger on a similar sofa from West Elm. With shipping and taxes, the total cost would have been $2,900 (thats with the Labor Day discount). Furthermore, it would be 6 weeks (build/shipping) before I would receive it. Dont get me wrong, the West Elm sofa is superior to the Aiden Sofa, but not at a $1,400 premium.
The sofa arrived in a giant box which does include instructions. Although not needed, the instructions do state in bold letters that the 5 legs are in the hidden compartment. The first thing I noticed was the smell. Not a leather scent, but a smell similar to those foam mattresses you buy online. After a few days, the smell does dissipate. The leather is not as soft and supple as that on the West Elm sofa, but it is still nice to the touch. It is definitely real leather. Also, the color is true to the pictures on-line.
Overall, Im happy with my purchase and feel reassured that I have 30 days to return it. In the meantime, I will hold on to the shipping box. Thanks for making it possible to buy furniture on-line with free shipping.
Bought this couch and Im very happy with my purchase. The shippers brought it right in (and down the steep stairs!) into my basement apartment. It comes well protected in a bag and wrapped in some protective wrap inside the box. I was a little concerned about how I was going to get it out of the box because I was by myself, but I just laid the box down and essentially slid/pushed the couch out, flipped it up on its back side, screwed on the legs, and flipped it upright. The whole process took me 20 minutes maximum, so if you have two people I bet it would take even less. The fabric of the couch is very very soft, and very comfortable. Its not a couch that you sink into, which I was a little concerned about because my previous couch was one like that. However, theres just the right amount of give in the cushions, and its the perfect length for lying down on (Im 56). Definitely recommend.
I have a small space and was looking for a mid century modern couch. This couch checks all the boxes. Its classy and stylish. The set up was so easy (literally just screw in the legs of the couch by hand). And delivery was very convenient.
I love this sofa. I wish I had splurged for the longer one. Im 54 and I can touch both arms lying down head to foot. Its firm but not as bad as I expected. Very comfortable! I love the roll pillows it came with too. Very easy to assemble. If youre worried, dont be.
This was exactly as described. The loveseat itself is comfortable, and its easy to put together literally minutes. I needed it for an awkward place in the house and it was small enough to fit and look good. In all its a good value.
