I love these beds. We currently have them sitting side by side. There is a gap between the mattresses that my boys like to get stuck in. Very solid. The gray is beautiful. I like that the slats get screwed in place.
We love these bunk bedswe have assembled and disassembled them multiple times in the last year and have not had any problems at allvery sturdy and easy to change from single beds to bunk and back againthey pack down very well, and we were able to take them with us when we moved across countrywe will be buying them again when our little ones are ready for big kid beds!
Pros: Way better bunk bed set then compared to IKEA options, better price and good quality. Sturdy and pieces fit together easily. Definitely would recommend.
Cons: The directions arent the greatest, make sure you understand where the pieces go before assembling. The top and bottom bunk require different pieces even though they are labeled the same as the bottom. (Make sure the holes match up with the rails, etc or you will waste a lot of time re/assembly)
Love it. Feels sturdier than my boys last bunk bed from ikea. We decided to use them separately as two twin beds vs stacked and so far so good. They werent extremely bulky which was perfect because their room is smaller. The beds are both high enough to have ample storage underneath like a laundry basket and some square storage bins. It was easy to set up too, my older son helped my husband put it together.
Takes a couple of hours to put together. You definitely need an electric drill to speed things up. It is durable for my rough boys. You can even separate the beds; one will be close to the ground and the other taller.
Not sure what happened but the bunk beds we received we 64 inches tall as opposed to the 58 inches in the description. We had to shorten the bottom posts using a saw to lower the beds. We have low ceilings and 64 was way too high.
I just received the bunk bed today for my boys 5 and 7. The bottom bunk I put together no problem but Im having a hard time fitting a piece together on the top bunk. Its like the manufacture didnt cut it properly. It also came brokeI understand it was cheap but I paid for itI hate to write a poor review but Ive never had this problem before
