the height is perfect for me for my desktop pc, its sturdy and lightweight.
however im not a fan of the cover materiel as it gets too warm too quickly under my feet, not much of an issue if i use slippers.
I bought this footstool because, among literally dozens available on line, it was the only one I could find in a color that I thought matched a gray leather chair I owned. Luckily, I was right. The color matched perfectly. The footstool is well made and easy to set up. The screw-in feet use standard bolt sizes. However, for me, it has two drawbacks. First, the overall height is too low. The feet are only about 3 inches high, and they should be at least an inch and a half higher, if not two inches. (I went on line and bought replacement feet.) Second, the padding is too thin. It is particularly noticeable at the edges, where your feet tell you it is just a soft box, rather than a padded stool. But it fits my need.
Its perfect!!!! I needed something to prop my feet up on after having my baby, and this was the perfect size and the cushion is comfortable and the pattern is beautiful !
This is a good height for me when I take a break in my art studio and want to put my feel up. Its also easy to wipe down if I inadvertently get paint or pastel dust on it. The added bonus is that I can stand on it to reach my higher shelves. Im very pleased with my purchase.

Super easy to put together made well. Looks great has a zipper on bottom if you want to store something.
