My 9 and 5 year/old kids share a room. My initial set up was using the ikea Flysta s to divide the room that could have been great if their room has a bit more sq ft of space! So I kept looking and searching for new ideas on Pinterest and YouTube etc. I want each kid to have their own space but not to sacrifice the overall space in the room. Finally I decided to use loft beds. I myself had one when I was little. BUT I didnt like that straight ladder and small with built in wardrobe under the bed. I think this simple loft bed with walk/in area is better. Kids can put whatever they prefer behind the and the is a good size too! Its like they each have their own cubicle! I have attached 2 pictures. Yes its pretty messy but u get the idea. I also had to take a risk not knowing if I could fit 2 loft beds (~80 inches each) side by side in the room (but it was perfect fit like custom made!) Also the bed is sturdy! I am not light and I climbed on the ladder and even briefly sat on the bed without problem . Assembly took like 2 hours with 2 people. One person assembly would be hard and u need to have a platform/ cabinet/ ladder to help hold on to the loft bed pieces. But all in all, instruction is easy to follow, wood feels solid and sturdy ( our navy beds are up for a month and dont have wood cracking problem like the other reviewer theirs may actually be paint cracking?), also great design! Oh and my 2 kids love it!
Maybe I was lucky both of the loft beds arrived with fine packaging, wood is fine with only minor not/so/smooth area on the inside of 1 ladder and no dent/ chip/ missing parts!
The shipping was fast. It took 2 people to put together and was a hour and half. Its perfect for my 8 year old added some pool noodles to the steps since they hurt her feet to climb on the ladder.
We bought this bed for our great granddaughter and she loves it but, the instructions for assembly was very disappointing because all the instructions provided were pictures of the parts to be assembled. No written instruction provided whatsoever, only pictures of the parts and the bolts, screws, etc. So for us, assembly took a lot longer than necessary.
I bought this so my daughter can have her own space for her arts and crafts. She loves it!! The only complaint I would have is that is doesnt have an opening at the top of the latter, so you have to climb over the railing to get in and out of bed.
I really love the design of this bed. The is a great feature. However, the wood started cracking all over almost immediately (see picture). Not sure if itll be safe to use for much longer.
You need two persons to make it easy to assemble. Took me an hour to put it together with the help of my daughter. The corner of had a crack but it was inside, so did not bother me much. The bed is sturdy enough after assembly . It would get 5 stars if the table did not have any crack. I guess they could have offered better packaging. its really a great buy for the money.
Once together the bed was sturdy. We he directions are horrible and none of the hardware is labeled. There is a page of the instructions that has all of the hardware pictured but they arent actual size so trying to identify which bolts were which was difficult. There are also multiple places in the directions where a part number was left out or wrong. Other places where steps were skipped entirely. This took 3 hours to put together, would have been at least an hour less if the directions were clear and parts labeled.
Everything arrived in good condition. No indent, no scratch, original. Out of package and it is good to go. With two handy men, it would take 1/2 hours to put it up, otherwise might be between 2/4 hours. One person is less likely to work, possible but not recommended,
but if you got the right tools and accessories, like rope and ladders, and expect to get some sorts of punches LOL, Still Not recommended
I am happy with the purchase overall. Great design. Hope it is going to last
Update a month after purchase:
I adore the design of this bed, but I had read about the thin ladder issue and I dont like climbing on thin ladders so I ordered another walk on Ladder at the same time. Thats how far I was willing to go when I like the design. Besides that, I also had ordered a set of solid wood slats for I prefer a thinner mattress. See the attached pictures. The rest of it works just perfect. This is what for those who adores the design but wasnt sure about the ladders
update again, I think I am obsessed with the design LOL, I cut off the middle part, see attached picture, now it is so easy for me to get into the bed. I am an adult though I am not sure about those for young children
My 6 year old loves this so much! It was easy to assemble and there have not been any scares or concerns with this new bed. The shelves help with organizing and gives more room in an already small room which makes it better for growing kids.

Awesome bed.
The only problem is one shelf was not able to be secured down.
Love it. Perfect for my 8 year old.

Good value for the money

Sturdy but directions are bad
