Perfect chairs for what we needed and a good price. Takes time to put together but is straight forward directions. Some of the screw cover caps have fallen off already but that didnt bother us. Get a small pillow for lumbar support and chairs are great.
When we first got these rockers we loved them. Easy to assemble and comfortable. However the paint has already started to crack and peel in spots on the chairs and we may have sat in them literally 10 times. They will have to be sanded and painted soon and not even a month old!
Easy to assemble. I got it for my oldest daughters room which is not too big so the base of the chair seems huge to me. It rocks back pretty far and seems a bit dangerous.
Rocker has a deep seat but the back is uncomfortable - we tried with a person 52 and 61 and both said the back was uncomfortable. Since the seat is deep, its more comfortable for tall people as shorter people will have issues with their feet touching the ground. Per the pics, rocker arrived with clear manufacturing defects - paint not properly applied and a gouge in the back of the side support.
Nice chair and well worth the money as it is fairly well built but its a shame its not more comfortable. The seat is somewhat contoured but still needs a cushion to be comfortable. The back of the chair is flat and does not wrap around and support you at all. Other than that it was fairly easy to assemble and well made.
In 20 years of buying from these are the shoddiest product I have ever received. I still cant believe they are Choice. I ended up keeping them as I was having a Memorial Day party and needed them and there was no time to buy others.
On the plus side once they were assembled (not an easy task),they do look nice it and seems as if they will serve their primary purpose which are as porch decorations.
Upon opening the box the first thing I saw (both rockers) was that multiple seat slats were loose. These are stapled. Some were able to be just hammered back in. Others had never been attached as the prongs were bent over. I was able to straighten them. The next thing I saw that on one there was a large chunk of wood broken out of the support. This had happened after it had been painted and was not in the box. One rocker was able to be assembled with little problem. Predrilled holes are at an angle but they work. On the other on one of the preassemled sides, the braces between the uprights were not in fully. This meant the uprights were too far apart to fit into the holes in the rocker. After a lot of pushing and pulling by two strong people they finally slipped in.
I guess I probably got what I paid for, but I expected better for an Choice.
This is an incredibly beautiful chair! The craftsmanship is so good, and the color glows like honey in the sun. As with any chair of this type, you do need a cushion on the seat if you have arthritis , and plan to sit for awhile. But I would buy this chair again in a heartbeat.

Sturdy but not the most comfortable

Really shoddy.
