I ended up purchasing a second one on these bench cushions because I liked the 1st one so well. The purpose for the cushion was to use on top of a resin deck box, for a seating option. It works perfectly. I used 2x 4 velcro strips to secure the cushion to the lid of the box and we use those boxes for storage as well as seating on our pontoon. They look great and I have had no issues. That being said, I did purchase fabric water sealer to spray on the cushions for good measure. No complaints.
If you are trying to decide, and are discouraged by comments about having to put on cover and how hard it is, dont be. Of course its a struggle! To get a good fit, it has to be snug. I appreciated the comment with the hack of folding the cushion before inserting. Ill try that. Id rather have a few minutes of struggle than a summer of a loose fitting cover. These seem very well made and are perfectly comfortable.
