Got it in on time. No issues with delivery. Instructions are good not great. Make sure you read them carefully and pay attention to pictures. Drawers fit perfectly against the frame with the exception of one, but not terribly out of alignment. . All in all good quality for the price.
WOW! This bed took FOREVER to put together. It is not difficult, but it is packaged weird and all of the pieces are not in coordinating boxes. After unpacking 3 giant boxes I organized everything and got it going. It probably took about three hours to complete. I love it though and it looks great in my room. I did not reinforce the slats or add felt like some others have mentioned, and it does not rock or squeak.. even when doing uh activities lol.
I am a little hesitant to move it much since it is so big and moving it could cause the corners to break but there is no need really. My only issue is that this bed is obviously made for a Cali king, and therefore there is about 6 inches of space on either the top or bottom when you put a regular king size mattress on it. I left the gap at the top, and bought some cheap body pillows and pretty cases from . I stuffed them in the crack, and essentially added extra pillows to my bed. It doesnt bother me at all, but I did panic when I first saw how much extra space there was. This is exactly what I had expected and I am happy with my purchase.
Its a nice bed set and easy ish to put together but the slats arent long enough so if they shift slightly they fall out and you have to lift the mattress to fix it. Ive had tape cardboard pieces cut to size between each piece of wood to keep them from shifting. Another downside is the peices arent labelled so you have to go off of the pictures in the instructions.
Though there were a LOT of parts, no extra pieces (faulty screw meant I had to go to a hardware store to get a replacement), and it took a LOT of time... the end result is solid and beautiful! Absolutely no regrets!
Not worth how much we paired for it the metal draw bars were slightly bent when we got it and after about 2 weeks my husband had to screw 3 of the board in place because they kept falling out. Now after having it and sleeping on it for almost a year is starting fall apart even more.
Very cute and not difficult to assemble. The only downfall, in my opinion, is that the main support boards in the middle of the bed, which bear weight and support the drawers, are made of particle board.
The quality of materials is a lot better than a 14year old frame I had beforehand, but there are a couple issues:
I absolutely hate the planks of under. They move out of place, and they are all just short enough that they barely fit into the metal guides and will pop out, if I can get a single piece of wood instead of individual planks I would be able to sleep better. Now this could also just happen to be a manufacturing error, Id rather it be too long by a little bit, Im sure we got some peeps willing to do some wood cutting.
The second sort of has to do with the first note, the end of my bed bows out a little bit, causing the planks not to fit properly, and with that extra play I believe caused screws to strip the wood so now the frame isnt secured. Almost better to just put your mattress on the floor. Or make a bed frame out of the frame of a car.. The drawers are roomy and great use of space with the 6 of them.
Check out the other prepac drawer storage bed frame for good instructions on reinforcing it when you first assemble it. You will need additional L brackets, tape for the slats to get snug in their metal slots, a sander or lots of time with sandpaper, and some thin and tall wood screws to hold the slats down to the inner support pieces. When you reinforce it as instructed in the other review, you must remember to also sand the slats after you install them and put in the screws through the middle. Then you will have a splinter-free surface to lay your mattress. Also, put together your drawers early and make sure you have enough clearance to install them all on both sides, if you are putting together this bed near any walls or furniture that may hinder you. I learned that the hard way.
If any of you need the instructions for reinforcing and stabilizing the bed for longevity and quiet, request another review and I can give step by step instructions and possibly photos to assist your build.
You get what you pay for. Its not the best bed frame in the world and was a little time consuming to put together (I put 90% of it together with a screwdriver, not recommend. I quit on the draws and waited to get a little power drill from my dad to finish it). It wasnt really hard to put together but like I said a little drill would have made it maybe an hour and a half or so to put together. But not wanting to spend 100s and 100s of dollars and wanting a bed with a little bit of storage it works.

Beautiful and time consuming, but a little too big.

Its okay but needs improvement.

We really need to get rid of wood planks

Great design and storage space, just be sure to do some extra reinforcing for longevity and quiet
